Sweet & Sticky Chicken Wings

Ingredients

  • 1½ kg chicken wings, tips removed

Marinade:

  • 3 tbsp AYAM™ Sambal Oelek
  • 1 tbsp AYAM™ Sesame Oil
  • 2 tbsp AYAM™ Light Soy Sauce
  • 1 bottle AYAM™ Plum Sauce
  • 1 knob ginger, peeled and sliced into matchsticks
  • 1 red chilli, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped
  • 1 bunch coriander
  • 4 spring onions
  • 1 tbsp chilli flakes
  • 1 lime, juice, quarter lime skin
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

Garnish:

  • 3 spring onions, sliced
 

Method

  1. Preheat overn to 180°C.
  2. In a large bowl or tray, prepare marinade of all ingredients mized together.
  3. Toss chicken wings through marinade, add quartered limes to the bowl. Leave covered in the fridge for at least 1 hour to marinate.
  4. Pour onto a tray lined with baking paper and cook in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until caramelised and the meat comes off the bone.
  5. Pile on a large dish and garnish with sliced spring onions.
