Pipis in XO Sauce

Ingredients

  • ½ tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1kg pipis
  • 2 tbsp AYAM™ XO Sauce
  • 1 tbsp AYAM™ Oyster Sauce
  • 1 tbsp AYAM™ Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp cornflour
  • ½ cup cold water
  • Spring onions to garnish
  • Serving suggestion: 200g AYAM™ Vermicelli Noodles
 

Method

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or non-stick fry pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the pipis, XO Sauce and Oyster Sauce and stir-fry for 2 min or until the pipis open.
  3. In a bowl, add cornflour and cold water and stir to combine.
  4. Add mixture to pan and stir to thicken sauce.
  5. Add Sesame Oil and stir-fry for 30sec.
  6. Garnish with spring onions.
  7. Serve with blanched vermicelli noodles or steamed rice.

Tip - Substitute pipis for claims if they are unavailable.
