Coconut Oil Chocolate Bar
Ingredients
- 1 cup AYAM™ Virgin coconut oil
- 1 cup cacao powder, sifted
- 2-3 tbsp honey or pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp pure vanilla bean extract
- Pinch salt
- Pinch cinnamon, ground (optional)
- Pinch ginger, ground (optional)
Toppings:
- ⅓ cup goji berries or chopped cranberries
- ⅓ cup flaked almonds, toasted
- ⅓ cup sunflower seeds, toasted
Method
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the coconut oil.
- Remove from heat and add cacao, honey, cinnamon, ginger, vanilla and salt, combine well.
- Spread coconut mix on baking tray until smooth, sprinkle toppings of choice over the chocolate mix.
- Place baking tray in the freezer for 45min – 1 hour until solid.
- Once solid, remove from freezer and break into pieces, store in the fridge
