I love how convenient this sauce is. It takes the guesswork out of cooking Korean dishes at home. The taste is family-friendly—not spicy for the kid—so both adults and children enjoy it. A great pantry staple for quick meals. Also, the ingredients are natural.

Korean Japchae

Recipe by Michael Weldon

Serves 4 | Prep 5 minutes | pot Cook 10 minutes
 
 

Ingredients:

  • 200g AYAM™ Korean Japchae Sauce
  • AYAM™ Pure Sesame Oil
  • 200g sweet potato noodles
  • 3 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 300g beef stir fry strips
  • 60g leeks, thinly sliced
  • 1 red capsicum, sliced
  • 70g carrot, julienne strips
  • 40ml water

Method:

  1. Cook sweet potato noodles according to packet instructions.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add onions. Stir fry until fragrant.
  3. Add beef and stir fry until browned.
  4. Add AYAM™ Korean Japchae Sauce, sweet potato noodles, leek, red capsicum, carrots, and water. Stir until coated in the sauce and vegetables cooked.
  5. Add dash of AYAM™ Sesame Oil to taste.

Tips: Substitute beef for chicken, prawns or extra vegetables.
